The National Centre for Social Research (EKKE), in collaboration with The Family Education and Childcare Training Centre "PLATO" of Nafpaktos, the BEE GROUP, the NGO PRAKSIS, and the Department of Social Work of the TEI of Crete rolled out a project entitled "Cultural Interactions”.

The project involved a series of events (dancing, music, documentary screenings, short theatrical plays, creative activities for children) which were held in Kalamata, Patra and Pirgos in June 2011. The project "Cultural Interactions" was designed to raise the awareness within the wider Greek society about the immigrants who live in our country.
